Ever since i was a child i have longed for the mountains. I have wanted to see views that goes beyond what we normally see. I wanted to go beyond the ridge ahead and that peak in the distance. Climb that tall waterfall, cross that river and run up that mountain.
I am incredibly blessed in being born and raised in one of the most beautiful places on earth; Northern Norway. I am surrounded by natures beauty and it is a constant source of inspiration. I hope you find some inspiration in looking at my work and it makes you want to get out in the wild.

Stian Klo is a professional and award winning nature and landscape photographer from Harstad, where he also lives today. His main focus is modern tourism combined with the wild, dramatic and beautiful nature in the arctic/polar parts of the world. He’s always been the creative type, and fascinated with nature and photography ever since he was a little boy.
Exploring and travelling is therapy for him, which is why he’s often found camping up in the mountains by himself. Growing up in arctic Northern Norway has its advantages in terms of esthetic and dramatic landscapes and light, and this is what he tries to capture on his adventures.
